There is often an overlap between counselling and coaching. Both have the aim of bringing about beneficial change so that we can move forward positively in our lives.
Most of us go through difficult times in our lives when we could do with some help and talking to a skilled counsellor can help us gain new perspectives, understand ourselves better and give us tools to maintain and support us in the future. Sometimes we just need a space where we can offload to someone who is understanding, supportive and non judgmental. My aim is to help you feel better about yourself and empower you to feel more in control of yourself and your life.
You may be in the midst of life changes or you may just be feeling stuck or struggling to find time and space to do what you want. You may not even know what you want. Life coaching can help you to move forward and enhance the satisfaction and quality of your life.
Life Coaching can support you with the following:
*Find direction and purpose in your life
*Enhance your energy and motivation
*Build self esteem
*Achieve a satisfactory work/life balance
*Liberate yourself from negative beliefs and attitudes.
The advantage of having a trained counsellor as a coach is that deeper issues may arise in a coaching session that are blocking a person in achieving their goals and, unlike with a non counselling trained coach, these can be addressed and bring about more long term effective change.
